I joined the Avenue Dental Surgery in 2011 and aim to ethically and proficiently treat my patients to the highest standards. My primary objective is that I endeavour to ensure my patients are always at ease. I am comfortable with all NHS dental treatments.
Outside of dentistry, my time has been spent travelling and exploring as many countries as I can. I have two young children which ensures my weekend are dominated my zoos, farms and other kiddie dominated attractions!
I graduated from Newcastle University, and have recently completed a course in facial aesthetics.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and particularly enjoy getting to know all my patients.
I spend most of my spare time with friends and family and enjoy playing netball in the local league.
In 1997 I came to the U.K., and joined the Eastman Dental hospital in London as Senior House Officer. I completed my Fellowship examination from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Since then I have undertaken extensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implantology by both serving in the NHS and attending training courses. Presently I work as an Associate Specilaist in the department of Maxillofacial Surgery at the East Lancashire NHS Trust, serving Royal Blackburn, Royal Bolton and Burnley General Hospitals.
I live in Bolton with my wife Kanchan and daughter Tejal. I enjoy family time at home, and am supported by my family in everything I do.
We offer a warm and welcoming enviroment here at The Avenue Dental Surgery, and I love being part of the team!
The things I enjoy most about my job are getting to know the patients & seeing patient satisfaction at the end results of long standing cosmetic procedures. Outside work I enjoy spending time with family & friends.
My position was as a dental nurse which I did for a number of years and enjoyed.
I then progressed to reception duties which I do at the moment.
I have a good relationship with most of our patients and have known a lot of them for many years. I love talking to them when they attend and make them feel at ease.
